Thank you for shopping with NioDsign. Because our products are custom-made, the return policy differs from standard retail items. Please read the policy carefully before placing your order.


Custom-Made Products and Right of Withdrawal

All NioDsign products are produced specifically for each customer after an order is placed.

Under consumer protection laws, the standard cancellation or withdrawal right does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

This exception is established under:

  • The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (United Kingdom)

  • The EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU

  • The Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act §22

Because of this legal exemption, orders for custom-made products cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded simply because the customer changes their mind.

By placing an order with NioDsign, you acknowledge that the product is produced specifically for you and therefore exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period.


Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

If your order arrives with a manufacturing defect, damage, or an error, you are protected by consumer law.

Customers in the UK are protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which states that products must be:

  • As described

  • Of satisfactory quality

  • Fit for purpose

Similar protections apply under European and Norwegian consumer legislation.

If your product does not meet these requirements, you are entitled to a suitable remedy.


Issues Covered by Our Complaint Policy

You may request assistance if your product has:

• Manufacturing defects (for example printing errors, stitching defects, or material faults)
• Incorrect item sent (wrong size, colour, or product)
• Damage that occurred during production or shipping
• A product that does not match the description or order confirmation


Issues Not Covered

The following situations are not considered manufacturing defects and are therefore not eligible for refunds or replacements:

• Normal wear and tear from regular use
• Damage caused by improper use or failure to follow care instructions
• Minor variations that may occur during custom production
• Subjective opinions regarding comfort, fit, or style
• Products that have been used, washed, or altered after delivery


How to Report a Problem

If you believe your product is faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of receiving the product.

Please include:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photos showing the product and the defect

Our support team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days.


Resolution Options

If your claim is approved, we will offer one of the following solutions depending on the situation:

Replacement
We will send you a new product at no additional cost.

Refund
If a replacement is not possible, we will issue a full refund.

Partial Refund
If the defect is minor and you prefer to keep the product, a partial refund may be offered.


Returning a Defective Product

In some cases, we may request that the defective item is returned.

If a return is required:

• NioDsign will cover the return shipping cost
• A return shipping label will be provided by email
• Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected


Complaint Period

Customers have the right to report manufacturing defects for up to two (2) years from the date of delivery, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

However, issues should be reported as soon as reasonably possible after discovery.
