The Story Behind NioDsign

It all started long before NioDsign got its name.

I have always enjoyed drawing. As a child, I filled sheets of paper with sketches, shapes, and ideas, and creativity has always been a natural part of who I am.

When I was a student, money was often tight. As birthdays approached, I couldn't always afford expensive gifts. Instead, I bought simple white T-shirts and drew the designs directly onto the fabric with textile markers. Each T-shirt was unique, made especially for one person.

What began as a creative solution eventually became a passion. I discovered how much a hand-drawn design could mean when it had a story behind it.

That idea has become the foundation for NioDsign.

Today, every design still starts as a sketch. Before anything becomes digital, printed, or embroidered, it first exists on paper – hand-drawn. We believe that the best garments are those that feel well thought out, and that good design doesn't need to shout to be noticed.

NioDsign is built on quality, timeless design, and small details that make a difference. We don't produce large quantities or build up inventory. Each garment is made only when you place an order. This means less overproduction, less waste, and a more conscious choice – both for us and for you.

What once started with a marker and a white T-shirt has evolved into a Norwegian brand with a simple philosophy:

Less noise. More design.
